Ahmedabad, September 06 Pankaj Saxena, the rector of the Asaram Ashram-run Gurukul and Yogesh Bhati, a sadhak at the Ashram, on Saturday refused to give their consent to the narco-analysis test in connection with the mysterious deaths of two Gurukul students — Abhishek and Deepak Vaghela.
Both the students had gone missing from the Gurukul on July 3 and their bodies had been recovered from the Sabarmati riverbed on July 5.
On August 22, the investigating agency in the case, CID (Crime)had moved an application for narco analysis of Saxena and Bhati on the ground that both had refused to part with any information with respect to the case.
The agency had also concluded that their lie-detector test was inconclusive and had given rise to contradictions.
The lawyer of the accused, however, contended in court that since the order regarding the validity of the narco analysis was pending before the Supreme Court, it would be wise to wait for the apex court’s judgment.
It was also pleaded before the court that a narco analysis violated the rights of the accused under Article 20 (3) of the Constitution.
The court has granted the investigative agency time till September 11 to reply to these contentions.
The CID (Crime)has so far failed to make any major headway in the case.

it has been over two months & you can see how investigation is being done. It’s a joke of whole democracy that how politicians & local govrnment can influence the investigation.
